  1. Install the two required apps – install the one for Jira first, and then the one for Confluence.
  2. Select all the public Knowledge Base spaces you want to include in the search.

…and voilà! You’re all set.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • Make sure that your Jira and Confluence are linked via application links.
  • All the spaces that you want to search must be public.
  • Like with any other app, apps work across the entire Jira / Confluence instance but for only one instance. Ensure that all your Confluence spaces are within one Confluence instance.
